Feedback and talking points from Legal firms in regard to IT and Cloud Solutions
We recently exhibited at Lawbiztec Birmingham, after spending a couple of days talking to and meeting people from different legal organisations there are a few talking points we want to share with you.
These are the topics that came up most when talking to visitors to our stand:
Although law firms are now using cloud technology in some form, a lot were unsure of what else they could benefit from by utilising the Cloud to its full potential. There are multiple solutions the cloud can offer and we have started to see more and more interest from legal companies who want to explore deeper the technology it can provide such as email archiving and the secure storage of data within UK Datacentres.
GDPR was certainly a hot topic and solicitors were keen to hear how we as an IT and Cloud Solutions company could give assurances when it comes to storage of their data and how risks can be eliminated by Cloud storage to ensure they are compliant and free from potential data breaches in the future.
Practise owners and partners talked about how they recognised that they needed to remove constraints and give their staff the ability to work anywhere and still have access to files and data. They wanted to promote smart working but at the same time wanted assurances about how their data would be handled, in order to feed this back to potential clients.
Our Managing Director ran seminars to talk about the future of cloud technology in the legal sector and stressed how firms need to adapt in order to grow their business. Cutting-edge IT is an obvious way of taking advantage of technology while innovating for the benefit of their clients and company.
